Garbanzos

Supplier of fresh Garbanzo Beans

 

For a quick, nutritious appetizer

                                      

2-3 Cups FRESH GARBANZO BEANS

1 teaspoon salt

 

 

 

Pour an inch or more of water in a wok or skillet and bring to a boil over high heat. Place the Fresh Garbanzo pods in a bamboo or collapsible steamer cover and cook for 5 to 8 minutes, or until peas are tender. Season with salt to taste and serve warm as a finger food.  Hold one end of the pod with fingers and "bite" the pea out of the pod, discard the pod. Delicious and nutritious! Enjoy!
